Artwork:
The highest quality imprint begins with camera-ready artwork. Camera-ready
art is defined as clean, sharp copy which does not require touch-up and submitted
as follows: |
- Black and white line art on flat photographic paper with no halftones
or screens (often called a stat or pmt).
- 600 dpi laser prints, preferably at 200% of final imprint size.
- Multi-color imprints should always include a color composite. We
also need black and white artwork for each color separation with registration marks
and color designations.
- We accept vector art created in Adobe Illustrator as an .ai or .esp
format.
- Artwork may be submitted via e-mail
first@fici.com or mailed to us.
Art that needs to be touched-up or color separated, will be charged $55.00
per hour for processing.
The following is not considered camera-ready:
Photographs, low resolution laser art, photocopies, faxed art, letterheads, business
cards, printed pieces on flat smooth surfaces, embroidered patches, halftones, imprinted
writing instruments, or products with curved surfaces are not considered camera
ready.
Bleeds, hairline registration, four color process:
Have additional charges. We will advise you of these after viewing art.
Proofs:
Proofs of art/layout will be faxed for your approval upon request. Delays
in approval will result in delayed shipment. ($5 per proof) Customer assumes responsibility
for correctness of imprint and layout. Upon approval, production time is as stated
for that particular item.

Color Matching:
Exact PMS color matches are not available on all products. If not available,
then we will offer a close match using PMS numbers as a reference only.

If a special color is desired, such a request must be clearly stated
on the order, and a swatch of the color to be matched must accompany the order.
Any non-standard color may require a color matching charge. This charge will vary
based on product. Please submit color swatches or a specification from a generally
recognized industry color specification system. We cannot guarantee a perfect match
for all products. |

Methods of Payment:
Orders must be paid in advance with either Visa, MasterCard, or Discover,
Company or Personal Checks, Money Orders, or Electronic Funds Transfer.

Net billing or other arrangements may be established on a case-by-case basis. Please
contact us for more information. There will be a $25 fee for all Returned checks. |

Production Times:
Production times are approximate.
|
|
Approximate dates may be confirmed with our Customer Service Department.
If a proof is needed, production time will begin after the proof has been approved
and returned. Please allow extra time for shipping art and product. |

Overruns/Under runs:
Due to the difficulty of manufacturing to exact quantity requirements
without sacrificing quality, a shipment of 5-10% over or under the quantity ordered
will constitute a complete order and will be billed accordingly. On Bags allow 15%
- 20% over or under ship. |

Rush Service:
Available on most products. Camera ready art is required - Please consult
us for product availability. |

Some products cannot be rushed during peak seasons of the year, i.e.
golf balls. |

Shipping:
Orders within the Continental United States will be shipped in the most
cost -effective manner. |
Unless specified, all shipments via U.P.S. or Fed-Ex. A small handling
charge is added to each box to cover insurance, tracking and proper packaging.
AIR SHIPMENTS: require written authorization. All air packages are rated by carton
size or weight - whichever is greater. Dimensional weight will in most cases exceed
actual weight. |

International Orders:
For orders outside the Continental United States, minimums may be increased
and shipping charges must be quoted. |
Re-orders:
For exact re-orders only, please furnish the previous invoice number
and date. For most products, art and screen charges will be reduced or eliminated. |

Product samples are available for most products at cost. Please contact
